Very poor experience lately at Woolworths in Quakers Court. I used to love it, but the quality of their service became very poor. Grumpy and angry staff. Recently they harassed for refund and exchange. Even I didn't get my deserved ooshies. My last 3 consecutive visits to this store was very disappointing. I'm going to switch to nearby Aldi.
Honestly, Woolworths' online shopping just frustrates me a lot. Every time I order online instead of offering stress-free, convenient shopping I end up with missing Items from lack of stock, or they pick something that is just annoying as a replacement. I would have better chances of finding items in the store. Consistently, Woolworths delivery has disappointed me. I keep telling myself I will never order online again, months down the line I forget how frustrated the experience is. JUST BE BETTER !!!!!! AT LEAST IMPROVE!!

Just a shout out to Woolworths foods. You could have slice the plastic problem in your PACKAGING. And not in the carier bags. Even the staff say its a money making scheme.

I work in an industry with vunerable clients. One of our dear clients desperately needed basics. Unable to get to the local store.Too late to get a carer accross for that day. I called Woolworths Online shopping and the call was answered by Sean K.
Too late for same day delivery.
Sean K went out of his way spoke to the local store and arranged with a good store worker to deliver the basics ..bread..milk and a few other items. Same day. People like this show there are still those who go over and beyond. Their care is for the vulnerable and those in need.
Thank you for your service that is often unseen.
Thank you that you care.
Woolworths are lucky to have you. Thank you.
I have shopped at Woolworths Revesby for almost 30 years but never again. I discovered the Woolworths car park is now only 1 hour free parking. There is actually no mention about how much the parking costs, how long free etc on the Woolworths Revesby website.
Since Covid19, I have been limiting my number of trips to the shops so I only do one big shop per week. Also take my time when shopping to ensure I buy Australian products. My grocery shopping time inside the Woolworths store is on average approximately 2 hours.
During my last shop, I did not have my mobile with me so I had no way to keep track of the time. I also had problems with the self checkout complaining about the weight and number of bags I had. By the time I got out it was past two hours. I didn't realise I had to pay extra for parking so I had to park my car again when trying to leave and go back into the store.
I then had to queue up to talk to the staff at the counter. She told me that I had to pay $10, I could not understand why after purchasing $350 of groceries I now needed pay $10 for parking. I asked if she could help me but she said that she could not leave the counter. After few minutes discussion, she finally called a supervisor. The supervisor who was also no help and was in fact was incredibly rude. She told me "You look intelligent, you should know how to use the machine. "Basically a polite way of saying are you stupid? You don’t look stupid!" On our way to the machine, a man stopped her and asked her question and there was and additional few minutes conversation which cost me more time to watch them have a conversation while Woolworth parking clock is ticking...
Finally after all this time the manager explains there is only an additional 1 hour free, if you buy more than $30. Even though I just spent $350, I still needed to pay an extra $10 as my car by now been in the car park more than 2 hours.
So if you run are over time in the store by a minute this is very expensive minute.
If you have kids you can't shop at Woolworth's Revesby now as you they will slow you down.
If you are old or disabled best not to shop at Woolworth's now as you may take too long.
If you are planning a party or have a large family don’t go to Woolworth's Revesby, it may be as cheap as you think, remember the more you buy, the longer the shop, the more you pay for parking.
See a Friend or Neighbour at Woolworth's Revesby, don’t even say Hi, this is not a happy place to shop, well that is unless that is you don’t mind paying $10 to a machine later for that 2 minute chat.
Watch the time during the entire shop as the Woolworth's clock is Ticking....so the money can roll in... although I am not sure how they now expect to make money if they want you to run in grab the bare essentials and then run out again.
I am disappointed and disgusted at Woolworth's and is coming from a long time Woolworth's shareholder. I am selling Woolworths shares. Shame on you Woolworth management team.
While I was having the troubles the other day another Woolworths shopper commented they were not happy either and that Coles Revesby actually has 3 hours free parking.
I will shop at Coles Revesby from now on. The managers at Coles are friendlier, the toilets are always clean and always have soap and toilet paper, unlike the Woolworths Revesby toilets. Best of all if I have been there for less than 3 hours I don’t even need to try find a parking payment machine, so I save $10 off every shopping trip by shopping elsewhere.
I purchased dried figs, unfortunately they had worms in them, which is not the problem. Dried figs, sometimes have worms.
When I tried to just just exchange them, Sanket said to me that I am not allowed to, as I purchased them from South Melbourne, as the receipt showed.
I then said him, that I just wish to exchange them and he said to me that it was not allowed.
I then asked to speak to the manager on duty. Thejan came and said to me, that he was the manager on duty. He told me because of a COVID policy, I could not return them at another store. I then proceeded to ask him where that policy was written, and to show me, and he advised me to read the terms and conditions. I then asked for him, to show me where this COVID policy is. He then admitted to making the policy up, when he could not find it. He seemed to keep on making up his own Woolworths policies.
What a joke...
It is like they were just trying to win the argument.
Absolutely appalling, disgusting behaviour, that I could not exchange a simple packet of dried figs... when on the actual packet it states: "If you're not 100% happy with your purchase, we'll replace or refund." Not: ...at the store originally purchased from...
I have been shopping at Safeway and Woolworths for over 30 years, I shall stick to Coles from now on.
Thanks for nothing Woolworths. I'm not impressed. Trying to get food while in isolation during a pandemic and you refuse to use a courier, like Direct Express, so I can get food and supplies. I'm only 30 minutes away from your Glenorie store. The manager there was very good and was willing to help but your online customer service refused to go above and beyond. Very disappointing. Not only will I be alone over Christmas in isolation I will have no food or supplies. Shame on you.
I had ordered and paid for my lobsters online..pickup was Saturday between 12-1pm. As I was unable to pick up..I had my hubby do it. When he arrived he was told that there were none available. Was he fuming..I couldn’t check my phone as I was in a meeting..imagine my surprise when I found they had sent the message at 11:15am..45 minutes before pickup...not very professional given that if I wanted to change something on the order I had to do it before 9:45am (can’t remember if it was that day or the day before).
My husband had reorganised is busy schedule to accommodate my request..needless to say this was the last straw for him..he does most of the shopping in our household, but he will no longer shop at Woolworths.
Anyway I did get my lobsters on the same day..from Costco at only $15.99 .. same item yet $4 cheaper.
We have found that Woolworths is not the best or cheapest place to shop..there products are often triple the price of other stores..I highly recommend Fresh and Save and Aldi at Beerwah..Matilda fruit barn at Glasshouse mountains, and one of the best places to get meat, seafood and produce is Meat city at Morayfield..along with Golden Circle.
So after 50years of doing business with Woolworths I can say Goodbye and Good Riddance.
Drove around looking for 20 dollars crays to find out that none of the store in the North of adelaide have any. After speaking to the staff in 4 store and been told that wouldn't have a clue if their stores are receiving any. Sound like false advertising to me .
Just try and contact a Woolworths store by phone it’s impossible you go to a virtual assistant and they transfer you and every time it is cancelled. Ring the store and it’s diverted to an answering service, then rang Coles and got straight to the store so if you need to speak with someone ring Coles not Woolworths
Long time Woolworths customer, probably among the first to take up Online ordering when it was new. Mostly a great experience - until today! For two weeks now my delivery store (Nerang QLD) hasn't had cat biscuits available as a menu option. So today I thought I'd call Customer Service (or more accurately, Customer NO service) because I just couldn't imagine a Woolworths store anywhere in Australia not having cat biscuits in stock. I thought that maybe it was an issue with their computer system and I wanted to bring it to their attention. The Customer Service rep put me on hold and checked from their end that there was no menu item. She took me off hold to advise me what I already knew, that there was no menu item. She then put me on hold again to speak with her Manager who told her to contact the store. She took me off hold, told me she was going to call the store then put me on hold again. Back off hold she told me that the store had no cat biscuits.... Really?? I asked to speak with her manager and she refused to put me through on multiple occasions (even though she put me on hold twice more to apparently speak with her manager about my request) and she kept telling me that she had raised a ticket and that her manager would call me back within 24 hours. I tried to reason with her that if she could speak with her manager on three occasions during my call that surely the manager could take my call for a 1 minute chat? She refused and refused. I asked for her manager's name so I could complain if he didn't call me back (which has been my experience with "call backs" generally). She refused. I told her that if I got in my car and went to the store and found that there indeed was cat biscuits on the shelves that I would be furious and would complain long and loud. She didn't care. So guess what? I went to the store and found cat biscuits!! For all of the advertising promoting Woolworths as a customer focussed organisation I say - SHAME ON YOU!!! If your customer service department has an unhappy customer on the phone who wants to speak with a Manager, a Manager should make themselves immediately available or you will continue to get reviews like this. I'm seriously thinking of bringing this to the attention of the media! Not Happy.
I have been to Woolworth Yamanto Ipswich and tried to pay by e gift card and I think because I was trying to get it on my phone at the check out the lady would not pack my groceries, she then put eveything in one bag which I could not lift it. She was rude and and inpatient. I ended up having to pay by debit card . This store is the worst store I have ever being in. Every time I go there there is always sometime wrong.
Shopped online with Woolies gift card. Money taken, yet no record of shopping ordered on 11/10/2020.
Money deducted from gift card! Almost four hours on the phone to customer service, online assistance, customer service, online assistance. Then issued with instore voucher. At checkout, not recognized! Left trolley full of food behind! 13/10/2020 They will issue an E card voucher to shop at any Woolies! Should receive within 24/48 hours. A gift from a mother to a daughter & grandchildren became a nightmare. I am exhausted from the whole experience. I don't know yet if the E card will work. Just very upset & disappointed by the whole thing. Will never do this again.
